CSG chief executive Peter Kalan retires, COO Bret Griess named successor

CSG International said its chief executive officer Peter Kalan will be retiring at the end of the year, following 19 years of service with the company.

The company has appointed president and chief operating officer Bret Griess to succeed Kalan as president and CEO. In addition, Griess will be appointed to CSG’s board.

The appointments will be effective January 1, 2016, CSG said.

Griess has served in various senior and executive management roles with CSG for over 19 years.  In his current capacity, he oversees the company’s global sales, operations

and delivery, client relationships, product development & management.

Prior to this role, he held a variety of positions in operations and information technology, including chief operating officer.
